Thermoplastic:  Hot applied application of thermoplastic for crosswalks, stop bars, directional arrows or preformed thermoplastic application.  Hot applied thermoplastic is applied by machine whereas preformed thermoplastic is already made sections which are heated onto the pavement or concrete surface using a torch.
